Enterprise, Ala. -Talent from near and far now has the opportunity, with the help of Verizon Wireless BamaJam Music and Arts Festival’s Jim Beam Battle of the Bands 2010, to perform for crowds like those for platinum selling artists, plus the chance to have a song produced by one of Nashville’s most successful producers, James Stroud, whose credits include more than 125 No.1 records and albums that have collectively sold over 52 million copies worldwide.

The Jim Beam BamaJam Battle of the Bands competition is open to all and will afford six finalists the opportunity to perform a 30-minute set on Stage D at Verizon BamaJam 2010 in Enterprise, Al. Finalists will be judged by a panel of top-music industry professionals based on a set of criteria including marketability and talent.

The 2nd annual Jim Beam Battle of the Bands winner will be announced LIVE Saturday, June 5, 2010 at the Verizon Wireless BamaJam Music and Arts Festival.

ENTERPRISE, AL -The Verizon Wireless BamaJam Music & Arts Festival is proud to announce more amazing, talented acts to the already star studded lineup for 2010.   The festival welcomes one of Billboard Magazine’s “100 Greatest Singers of All Time”, the founding member of The Allman Brothers Band and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, Gregg Allman. Joining the event for the first time is Buddy Guy, who is one of the greatest blues guitarist and singers who has been an inspiration to Jimmy Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughn and many other guitarists. He is also a member of the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Alabama House Resolution Honors Festival and Ronnie Gilley Entertainment
 
 Enterprise, AL – The second annual Verizon Wireless BamaJam Music and Arts Festival drew accolades from music lovers who attended, as well as from the top acts in music that performed during the June festival.
 
The praise continues from the State of Alabama itself — home to the 3-day festival. House Representative Johnny Mack Morrow has drafted a Resolution honoring the success of the BamaJam Music and Arts Festival and paying tribute to Ronnie Gilley Entertainment (RGE), organizers of the annual music extravaganza, for “unquestioned positive effects on Alabama’s tourism industry and for the national and international exposure provided the great state of Alabama.”
 
In part, the resolution congratulates BamaJam and visionary entrepreneur Gilley for attracting unparalleled talent, for so quickly becoming the largest music festival in the United States and for the major economic boon BamaJam brings to Southeast Alabama.
 
The June 4-6, 2009 event drew record-breaking crowds with fans attending from 47 states and 7 countries. The jam-packed entertainment lineup included Taylor Swift, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn and Kid Rock among others. The festival is billed as a celebration of the human spirit through music and arts which provides not only world-class entertainment and activities, but also provides financial support to serve the needs of Coffee County and the surrounding area.
