We the undersigned demand that a thorough investigation is held over the death of an innocent elderly PitBull named BATMAN that was forgotten about by the Virginia Beach Animal Control staff and left out in the bitter cold overnight.
“As part of the investigation… policies and procedures will be reviewed to see if..anything needs to be changed.”
What needs to be changed is those responsible for the death of this precious old soul must be charged and held accountable for their abuse… just (or perhaps, more so) as any “citizen” would be, had they left their companion outdoors – sans protection – to die!
