WEST DES MOINES, From kcci.com – Iowa —West Des Moines police said a woman was arrested on drug charges after she and a man drove to the police station while looking for an adult entertainment venue.
Alexandra Siddens, 20, was arrested and charged early Friday for possession of a controlled substance after officers stopped her and man she was with.
The couple had driven their vehicle into a private area of the police station after looking for a strip club in West Des Moines.
Officers reported that the couple had bloodshot, watery eyes. They also said the vehicle smelled of marijuana.
No illegal substances were found in the car, police said.
Police said the woman was arrested after she reportedly admitted to having prescription pain killers in her purse.
The police station is about four miles away from the business the couple was looking for.
