Providence, RI. Police report that Tony Batman was found this morning entombed in a block of ice outside the Cadillac Lounge nightclub. Batman had been reported missing when he failed to arrive for his return flight to Fort Lauderdale. Police investigators learned that Batman had been in town to do a podcast for PlanetPlatypus.com According to the police, Platypus had dared Batman to do a remote outside the club in the sub-freezing night.
Cadillac Lounge spokesperson Brian Notarianni stated that Batman had said, “Florida boys aren’t afraid of a little cold weather,” as he exited the club with microphone in hand. A public thawing will be held for Batman this Wednesday at the Providence Ice Palace.
In other news Geek Squad leaders DJ “The Penguin” Gonzo and comedian Bobby “Ice Buster” Mac along with Alec “Dirty Minus 30″ Lepper, have been apprehended after taking pump truck #3 for a joy ride from the Area #9 Fire Station.
When questioned, Mac said it was a publicity stunt promoting Rhode Island Winter Geek Fest with the theme this year of “Frozen in Time”.
