Phoenix, AZ- Scandalesque will be presenting their new holiday burlesque and variety spectacular, Puttin’ on the Glitz!, for three nights only at the Phoenix Center for the Arts. Performances will be held December 14th & 15th, and will feature live singing, over-the-top comedy, bedazzling dance theater, and spectacular circus acts.
Celebrate the holidays the alternative way with Puttin’ on the Glitz! “Snow Queens” Pan
dora De Strange and Kelly with a Big Ol K will host the event’s festivities, lampooning holiday favorites with a hilarious and naughty twist, while the full cast dances to the tunes of the new Scandalesque band, Midnight Orchestra. Show highlights include sexy skaters as snowboarders, snow angels dangling on silks, and sexy ballerinas and acrobats performing a Scandalesque homage to The Nutcracker. Also to be anticipated are the Scandalesque standards: live signing, dancing, trapeze striptease, and—of course—blazing bustiers!The night will also mark the Phoenix debut of the spectacular chandelier apparatus, a high-in-the-sky aerial device covered with strings of crystals, large enough to support multiple performers as they perform aerial feats. The apparatus made its first appearance dangling thirty feet above the seats at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, and was a smash hit.Celebrate the season with glitz and glamour, but be sure to buy tickets early. Scandalesque is a adult variety show catered towards nightlife entertainment. Founded in November 2004 by Julianna Curtis (Lady Fontayne) and Christy Zandlo (Pyrrha Sutra), two professional dancers and choreographers, Scandalesque Productions LLC and Vega Arts were created to cultivate performing arts within Phoenix and beyond by generating more opportunities for local artists.
