The 1 Contest Launch Event: An Extreme Beauty And Talent Contest
Hollywood, CA – A risqué Miss USA Contest meets America’s Got Talent. “The 1” Contest (http://www.the1contest.com), is a unique beauty and talent competition based on beauty, personality, physique and talent which is “R” rated, and the monthly winners get to work with Hollywood entertainment professionals to film a segment of their talent. Almost 40 of the beginning, incredible contestants will be present at “The 1” Contest’s exclusive launch party Friday, October 16th, 2009 at the world famous Cabana Club in Hollywood, California.
Contestants include the Star of a TV series, beauty contest winners, and professionals in the surfing, wrestling and motorcycle racing world, Penthouse centerfolds, and many others. New contestants will be added all the time. Those who exude the rare combination of dare-devil, risk-taking and moxie are encouraged to enter the competition and showcase their skill set – whether it be singing, dancing, acting, dirt bike riding, flame throwing, surfing, etc. Whatever the talent, a talented panel of judges spanning almost every aspect of the entertainment industry will be on hand to determine if contestants have what it takes to be the next THE 1.
Michael London, well known Hollywood Attorney to the stars, movie producer, music video producer and director, record company owner and rock concert promoter created the website and contest as a platform to increase visibility for those encountering the ‘catch 22’ starting out in the entertainment industry. “I wanted to provide the launching pad and ultimate platform to increase visibility for multi-talented women with unique creativity blended with true inner beauty,” says London.
Contestant’s vying for each month’s prize have been in major music videos; are professional surfers; won international beauty contests; have black belt’s in Karate; comedians; dirt bike racers; professional wrestlers; and one has even served our country, in the armed forces.
Each month a winner will be chosen to compete in the final competition. Monthly winners receive $1000 and a video shoot within their talent genre shot by industry professionals. The annual winner receives up to $20,000.
