From The Pocket Of Daisy Duxe: July Wrap-Up

In official sense…win or lose…its all over but the crying! I’ve always been told it’s not over til the fat lady sings….but there is no way to use that phrase properly in this industry! Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me…we can all hold our breath and cross everything but out legs for the best possible outcome at the Exotic Dancer Expo & Awards Show in Las Vegas, NV. The final results of our voting…after all recounts, audits, and hanging chad removals…will be revealed LIVE at The Joint at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on August 25th.
In the meantime, the show must go on….and I am continuing on tour. One amazing tour weekend was spent at one of my newfound favorite clubs. The Jungle in Amarillo, TX proves that the strip club industry is still fun and good if the staff puts the work into it. It may not be easy…but I promise you it is well worth it. A stage full of people…having the time of their lives….making the features job a ton of fun….and everybody goes home extremely happy with great memories & hopefully short hangovers. The unique décor at The Jungle sets the atmosphere from the moment you pull into the parking lot, but it doesn’t stop there. Hot girls who are there to show you a good time, fun staff who serve up their world famous fish bowl drinks(complete with glow sticks at the bottom), and Bones…the world famous DJ (with a head cold the weekend I was there) rocked the city of Amaretto for me!
Recently I enjoyed the Mountainfest Bike Rally while performing at Sapphire’s Gentlemen’s Club in Morgantown, WV(www.clubsapphirewv.com). It as an amazing, exciting, 800CC vibrating weekend where I met the guys of Savage Cycles and the band Strangers With Candy…both groups rocked my weekend! It has only been a few months since I visited Sapphires but I was thrilled to be going back to meet with fans who partied with me last time I went there. We cooked out, interviewed with Katie on 100.1 over the phone and even did an on location interview, we partied with the bikers, and of course kept them entertained & smiling with an array of naked ladies on the Sapphires stage. I unfortunately didn’t have my motorcycle..which was tough as I love to ride…but it is in the process of being repainted to hopefully debut in a few weeks. But I will make plans to attend next year and ride my way through the West Virginia mountains!
